All Gnostic brotherhoods, being at the service of the work of liberation of mankind, have drawn on an imperishable ‘treasure’ and have enriched it with their own forces and experience of the path.
This immaterial ‘treasure’ is the light-force of the world of the living souls, of the world of the origin.
Gadal named it ‘Holy Grail’.
Each brotherhood must transmute that universal light, liberate its strength and adapt it to the inner state of the seeker longing for the true life. Then, the light becomes ‘bread of life’, ‘holy food’.
It is the supreme remedy capable of transforming the lead of this nature into the gold of the Spirit.
There lies the practice of the ‘Noble Art’, the absolute healing, the secret of the Gnostics.
There lies the source of the numerous legends about the gold of the Rosicrucians, the ‘treasure’ of the Cathars or the Knights Templars, the elixir of life, the philosopher’s stone.
