The Quest Has to Be always Renewed

Antonin Gadal was at the turning point of a new quest for the Grail which started with a few seekers around 1930 and went on with the ‘Threefold Alliance of the Light’, in the same valleys where Catharism blossomed.

Tireless seeker, guardian of the Cathar sanctuaries, keeper of the initiation tradition of the ‘Pure Ones’, Gadal is altogether the hermit Trevrizent, the Perfect One, holder of the inner secrets of the quest, and a guide for the truth seekers, the new Percival; he shows them the phases of the quest till the ultimate stage, which is represented by Galahad in the Arthurian tale of the ‘Quest’.

Galahad is the celestial knight who wins without any weapon or shield, and finally identifies himself with the Grail; Galahad, an example of the perfection of one who ‘is in this world but not of this world’.

Is it by pure chance that the name Galaad is the anagram of his own name: A. Gadal?
