Gadal wrote the following in a small book on initiation:
'Spiritual knowledge has never been formulated as a doctrine. It is neither written down in any book nor transmitted like the flame of a torch. The human spirit is not a lamp that is lit artificially but it is a fire that, by itself, must conquer the darkness so that it no longer smolders in the ashes but blazes forth radiating freely. The purpose of the true initiation is to teach how to conquer the Light.' |
