What Is God?

God is the infinite Light.
The One and the Whole. He is worshipped under the threefold name of Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
The Father is the Absolute Being. He is the unknown God, inconceivable, intangible.
The disciples ask: Show us the Father! And Christ answers:
‘You can see me!’ Man can only see the Father through the Son, in the God-Man, image of his substance, splendor of his glory.
The Father is God veiled in Eternity. The Son is God visible in time; the Spirit is God felt in the heart.
