As in the great initiation tradition of the ‘Mysteries’, caves have two entrances; they are twofold.
He who comes in is not the same as he who comes out.
In the Odyssey, song XIII, we can read:
‘…There again flow inexhaustible sources and there are two entrances:
One to the Boreas lets men go down;
But the other, to the Notos, is for the Gods.
Never through it do men enter
Since it is the path of the Immortals!’
